The rules of financing, marketing & distribution are changing fast due to the emergence of Social Media and other websites where we can interact directly with the audience.
The business of film distribution is in distress as more and more distributors are closing shop due to falling dvd sales and less revenue from TV. This leaves fewer financing and distribution options. How do we as an industry adapt to the new challenges?
Come and spend a day with Thomas Mai as he present case studies and teaches hands on approaches to get in touch with the audience.
Thomas Mai is a former sales agent for 15 years (Trust Film Sales, Katapult Film Sales & TrustNordisk) and producer of 4 feature films (2 Danish and 2 American)
Thomas Mai spoke at the opening of Filmkonventet December 2010 in Piteå through a bad Skype connection. Come and spend a day with him as he teaches and shows the new possibilies in the global village.
